IND Technical Manager

About the role

The Industrial Technical Manager will lead the technical execution of all projects within the Industrial and Facilities Division in Atyrau, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, local regulations, and Bureau Veritas quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical delivery of industrial and facilities projects, guaranteeing adherence to contracts, regulations, and internal standards.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and act as the primary technical liaison for clients.
• Review and approve project plans, design documents, and technical specifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and service quality.
• Collaborate with other department heads to integrate industrial services with broader company offerings.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Represent Bureau Veritas in meetings with clients, industry bodies, and regulatory authorities.
• Mentor and develop the technical capabilities of the team.
• Support the sales department in preparing commercial proposals and develop the company’s technical strategy.
• Write and execute inspection protocols, establish technical standards, and control project reporting documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas or industrial sector.
• Higher technical education or equivalent; technical certificates are a plus.
• Deep knowledge of design methods, time‑management, legislative and regulatory frameworks, and project‑management methodology.
• Experience with P&L responsibility and budgeting.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Fluent in English, Kazakh and Russian.
