Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

QHSE-Akbarys is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to shape and improve HR processes within the oil‑and‑gas sector. You will work closely with senior leadership, influence strategic decisions, and drive measurable HR outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve HR systems and processes.
• Reduce employee turnover and increase engagement through targeted initiatives.
• Provide HR expertise to operational sites, especially in shift‑based (вахтовый) environments.
• Lead a small HR team of three specialists and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with the director on strategic HR decisions and business planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of overall HR experience with at least 2 years in the oil‑and‑gas industry.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable HR results (case studies, projects, KPIs).
• Deep knowledge of the Kazakhstan Labor Code and HR administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and resolve conflicts without escalation.
• Excellent business communication and adherence to corporate standards.
