HR Operations Specialist (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HR Operations Specialist to cover a 12‑15 month maternity leave within our Global HR team. The role is fully remote, supporting employees, contractors and EOR workers across more than 40 locations worldwide. You will handle end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, payroll inputs and HR system administration.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, contractual changes, transfers and off‑boarding for employees, contractors and EOR workers.
• Respond to daily HR requests, maintain documentation and ensure timely completion of actions.
• Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs, liaise with payroll, benefits and EOR providers, and resolve related queries.
• Administer employee data in BambooHR, Jira Service Management and other HR tools, monitor tickets and produce regular reports.
• Support compliance with internal policies and local regulations, keep audit‑ready records and contribute to global HR projects.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in HR Operations, People Operations or HR Administration.
• Proven ability to manage employee lifecycle processes from onboarding through off‑boarding.
• Strong attention to detail and document‑management skills.
• Fluent English; Russian language skills are a strong advantage.
• Available to work under a temporary B2B arrangement based in Kazakhstan.
