Head of Growth

About the role

GSM Kazakhstan is seeking a Head of Growth to lead its growth function across rider demand and driver supply. You will own the end‑to‑end growth strategy, build a high‑performing team, and drive sustainable business expansion through data‑driven decisions and cross‑functional leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Kazakhstan’s growth strategy covering rider acquisition, activation, retention, reactivation and driver growth.
• Develop integrated marketing programmes including brand, performance marketing, CRM, partnerships, referral schemes and local activations.
• Analyse business metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion, retention, ROI) and run continuous experiments to optimise performance.
• Build dashboards and performance reports to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.
• Recruit, coach and manage a Growth team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of ownership.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of growth initiatives, coordinating with Operations, Product, Commercial, Finance and global teams.
• Manage agencies, partners, budgets, timelines and risks to ensure measurable impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in growth, marketing, commercial or business strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Background in ride‑hailing, mobility, marketplaces, fintech, delivery or e‑commerce.
• Proven record of scaling business growth and leading cross‑functional projects.
• Fluent in English; Russian or Kazakh preferred.
