Foreign Trade Specialist – Customs Clearance

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Foreign Trade Specialist to manage customs clearance for spare parts and accessories. You will ensure smooth import processes, liaise with customs authorities and external partners, and provide high‑level service to internal clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit documentation to customs brokers for clearance.
• Calculate and organise payment of customs duties, taxes and recycling fees.
• Interact with customs brokers, temporary storage warehouses and government agencies.
• Process conditional release procedures and coordinate import of spare parts.
• Monitor delivery times, maintain supplier relationships and support internal logistics teams.
• Ensure timely payments to contractors and manage closing documents.
• Control document flow, including contract preparation and maintenance.
• Monitor carrier performance and adherence to delivery deadlines.
• Obtain permits, licences and other import/export documents.
• Organise product labeling in the customs warehouse.
• Maintain product inventory in 1C and NKT systems.
• Act as substitute for the domestic supply and export specialist when needed.

Required profile

• Higher education in customs, foreign trade, logistics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in customs clearance, foreign trade or logistics.
• Practical knowledge of customs legislation and import procedures.
• Experience working with customs brokers, carriers and government agencies.
• Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of information.
