Finance Operations & FP&A Lead (Remote)

About the role

Act as the operational backbone of finance in a lean, fast‑moving e‑commerce company. This individual‑contributor position owns management finance, reporting, cash‑flow visibility, payroll operations and finance processes, with strong growth potential.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly P&L, budget vs actual, cash‑flow forecasting and KPI reporting for the COO/CEO.
• Monitor P&L, reconciliations and margin data proactively to catch inconsistencies.
• Map, refine and tighten finance processes across internal and external systems.
• Drive automation and AI adoption to reduce manual work and enable higher‑value analysis.
• Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain on COGS visibility and SKU‑level profitability.
• Oversee payroll and contractor payments via automated tools and external providers.
• Act as financial advisor to Commercial, Purchasing, Operations and Warehousing teams.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, finance operations, audit or controller roles.
• Fluent English (C1); Spanish is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining P&L, cash‑flow, budgets and forecasts.
• Experience working with external accountants, tax advisors or accounting providers.
• Background in multi‑entity, multi‑currency, marketplace, e‑commerce or inventory‑based businesses.

Required skills

• ERP or accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and structured reporting tools.
• Business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Looker.
• Automation and integration tools (Make, Zapier, APIs).
• Programming / scripting knowledge (SQL, Python).
• AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code) for finance workflows.
