Finance Manager – Local Financial Management (Almaty)

About the role

We are seeking a professional Finance Manager to lead the local financial operations of our Almaty branch. The role involves end‑to‑end management of accounting, reporting, budgeting and compliance, supporting both day‑to‑day activities and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping, expense verification, account reconciliation and monthly closing in line with local GAAP and group standards.
• Manage cash flow, bank settlements and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial data.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and group‑consolidated data.
• Assist in annual budget preparation, rolling forecasts and track budget implementation.
• Analyse operating profit, cost structure and profit allocation, delivering regular financial analysis reports with optimisation suggestions.
• Support transfer‑pricing documentation, maintain inter‑company transaction records and monitor local tax regulations.
• Coordinate with headquarters finance, audit teams and local external agencies such as tax bureaus and banks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of formal finance experience; experience in an overseas company is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese, Russian and English.
• Strong logical thinking, high data sensitivity and a careful, responsible work attitude.
• Ability to work in an overseas environment and collaborate across teams.
