Finance & Accounting Specialist

About the role

This position supports the financial operations of a luxury hotel in Astana, ensuring accuracy of financial data, cash handling, and compliance with internal policies. The role is essential for maintaining reliable financial records and delivering high‑quality service to guests and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Control and secure cash and cash equivalents in line with cash‑handling policies.
• Organise, secure, and maintain files and records according to retention and confidentiality standards.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
• Audit and reconcile revenue postings and related reports.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, including guest service standards.
• Communicate professionally with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Assist with reasonable physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to work accurately with financial data and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures.
