Field Service Engineer – Elemental Analysis Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance and servicing of elemental analysis equipment at client sites across Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The role combines technical work on sophisticated instruments with customer interaction and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Service elemental analysis instruments such as Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), ICP‑OES, X‑ray Fluorescence (XRF) and spectrophotometers on‑site.
• Install and commission analytical equipment at customer locations.
• Prepare completion certificates, engineering documentation and service reports.
• Handle business correspondence with equipment manufacturers in English.
• Provide technical information and guidance to customers within your competence.

Required profile

• Degree in chemistry, geochemistry, physics, technical physics or a related field.
• English proficiency at least intermediate (B1); upper‑intermediate (B2) preferred.
• Physical stamina and willingness to travel regularly throughout Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
• Open to candidates without prior experience; experience as an engineer, lab technician or researcher using elemental analysis equipment is a plus.
• Manufacturer service certifications (e.g., Agilent, Thermo Fisher, PerkinElmer) are advantageous.
