Field Engineer III – Managed Pressure Drilling

About the role

We are seeking a Field Engineer III specialized in Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) to join our well‑site team. The engineer will act as the primary technical interface with the client, delivering high‑quality services, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, toolbox talks and Job Hazard Analyses, reporting issues promptly.
• Maintain and operate MPD tools and equipment in accordance with work instructions and safety procedures.
• Plan and execute job activities, including mobilization, tool preparation, data collection and submission of reports, service tickets and WPTS entries.
• Monitor and analyze operational data to recommend solutions and support client decision‑making.
• Provide 24‑hour on‑call support to address customer needs and respond to emergencies.
• Manage well‑site inventory and supplies, ensuring availability of critical equipment.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate field operation crew members, and assist in equipment failure investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.

Required profile

• Proven field engineering experience in oil and gas, preferably with MPD technology.
• Ability to work on a 24‑hour call rotation and travel to remote well sites.
• Strong safety mindset and experience conducting JHA and toolbox talks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to guide junior personnel.
