Equipment Program Management Regional Leader

About the role

We are seeking an Equipment Program Management Regional Leader to oversee locomotive, kit, and engine program managers. The role works closely with product managers and systems engineers to deliver multi‑million‑dollar contracts on time, on budget, and to customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor program managers in creating integrated program plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful program closure.
• Coordinate with warehouse, supply‑chain, and production partners in Kazakhstan to meet build schedules.
• Manage scope changes, approve business tollgate decisions, and maintain harmonised program schedules.
• Forecast, control, and report total program costs, including NRE, ACO, and logistics.
• Drive revenue, cash, and margin targets while ensuring quality compliance.
• Facilitate customer inspections, testing, and acceptance of locomotives and contract deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate program risks, maintain risk registers, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Lead executive program reviews and produce formal communications for customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 8 years of program management experience, preferably in locomotive, marine, or large‑industrial product lines.
• International program management experience with global stakeholders, especially in the United States and/or India.
• Proven ability to lead complex multinational projects across time zones and cultures.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong financial acumen.
