EPC Supply Chain Manager – Oil & Gas (Kazakhstan)

About the role

The EPC Supply Chain Manager will lead all supply‑chain activities for a major oil‑and‑gas project in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure that procurement, expediting, and material allocation are executed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all project supply‑chain processes, procedures and activities in line with the execution plan.
• Prepare and issue the project‑specific procurement execution plan, contracting strategy and schedule, using Oracle and Aveva ERM.
• Manage project status reporting, expediting and material allocation reports, and chair regular PSR meetings with client, engineering and procurement teams.
• Ensure compliance with client contracts, change‑control procedures, and statutory/legal requirements.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews, drive corrective actions, and uphold the WoodKSS Supply Chain Code of Conduct.
• Promote safety leadership, embed the Financial Management Framework, and drive performance‑management and development plans for the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, engineering, supply‑chain or related field; CIPS qualification or industry equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, progressing to senior leadership, with proven EPC SCM management in Kazakhstan.
• Deep knowledge of Kazakh governmental legislation on import, allocation and traceability of equipment and materials.
• Excellent communication, team leadership, planning and organisational abilities, with high integrity and safety focus.
