Energy Engineering Project Manager

About the role

RINA is seeking an Energy Engineering Project Manager to join its Atyrau office within the Energy Engineering Project Management Division. The role combines project management expertise with an engineering background to support oil & gas and energy transition projects in Kazakhstan.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Proposal Manager in developing bid and proposal responses, ensuring compliance with tender instructions and brand guidelines.
• Evaluate bid content, coordinate review meetings, and create usable technical material in collaboration with technical owners.
• Prepare and submit final proposals, manage presentations, and interface with customers at all seniority levels.
• Plan and manage project schedules, distribute tasks to technicians and subcontractors, and monitor progress.
• Conduct periodic customer meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Handle daily client queries and contribute to technical tasks related to oil & gas, decarbonisation, and low‑carbon solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in a structured engineering consulting or EPC environment.
• Familiarity with decarbonisation, energy transition, or low‑carbon gases is a plus.
• Fluent Russian (native speaker) and proficient English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
