Director, Business Development – MC Move Products & Solutions

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead the MC Move product and solution strategy across Kazakhstan and the broader CIS region. This senior position will drive sales, market entry and partnership initiatives for our digital payments portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development and execution of business‑development and product strategies in the assigned markets.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline in partnership with product development and account‑management teams.
• Lead sales and implementation of MC Move products, overseeing cross‑functional projects with country account management, marketing, services and other product teams.
• Engage strategically important banks and non‑traditional partners to sell and support product roll‑outs.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to facilitate product sales and manage budgets for strategic projects.
• Monitor market trends, identify new opportunities and drive growth through partnerships, acquisitions or investments.
• Represent Mastercard at internal and external forums, conferences and industry events.

Required profile

• Significant experience in financial services, payments, or consulting.
• Proven B2B sales and business‑development track record.
• Strong project‑management, analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across multicultural, multi‑geographic environments.
• Excellent written and presentation skills for senior‑level communication.
• Effective negotiation and influencing abilities at all organizational levels.
• Strategic planning, business‑judgment and financial‑analysis expertise.
• Self‑starter, motivator with the ability to work collaboratively.
