Director, Business Development – MC Move Products

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead the Mastercard Move strategy across Kazakhstan and the broader CIS region, including Central Asia, Belarus, Georgia, and Armenia. This senior role will drive sales, implementation, and partnership development for our Move products and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and execution of business development and product strategies in the assigned markets.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline in collaboration with product development and account management teams.
• Lead sales and implementation projects for Mastercard Move products, overseeing cross‑functional teams.
• Engage strategically important banks and non‑traditional partners to sell and support product roll‑outs.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to facilitate product sales.
• Own budgets for selected strategic projects and monitor market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate potential partners, acquisitions, or investments to expand business.
• Represent Mastercard at internal and external forums and conferences.

Required profile

• Significant experience in financial services, payments, or consulting.
• Strong business development and B2B sales background.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across multicultural and multi‑geographic environments.
• Excellent written and presentation skills for senior‑level communication.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Self‑starter with strong analytical and organizational skills.
