Dealing & Risk Management Officer

About the role

The Dealing & Risk Management Officer is responsible for executing trades in US equity markets and managing the associated risk. The role supports the firm’s expansion into new markets and products while ensuring compliance with internal risk appetite and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manually execute trades in US equity markets and potentially other markets as the business expands.
• Adjust stock borrowing and lending parameters and individual stock initial margin requirements.
• Assess and approve client credit limits in line with risk policies and regulations.
• Monitor client margin exposures, outstanding orders and ensure adherence to margin policies.
• Perform routine and ad‑hoc trade monitoring, investigation and surveillance.
• Identify, report and resolve risk limit breaches, escalating to senior risk management when needed.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dealing or risk management within securities.
• Degree in Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering or a related field.
• Good command of written and spoken Russian, Kazakh and English.
• Ability to work independently, detail‑oriented and perform under pressure.
• Willingness to work night shifts for the US market.
