Data Analyst, Antifraud

About the role

Higgsfield AI, a generative AI company focused on AI-powered video creation, is hiring a Data Analyst, Antifraud in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The role investigates suspicious accounts and abuse rings, builds evidence-backed findings and quantifies the financial impact of abuse, working closely with the antifraud data scientist, Payments, Support and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Run end-to-end ring investigations: from a flagged account or cost anomaly to a named cluster, its members, signatures and lifetime economics, and recommend actions.
• Triage the review queue produced by the detection system and feed your findings back into it.
• Produce evidence packages usable by auditors, payment networks, customers disputing bans and Legal, written per account with reasons and grounded in the Terms of Use.
• Own the abuse loss number, distinguishing compute costs, revenue at risk, revenue reversed and cash refunded, and build monthly reporting and ad-hoc answers.
• Monitor detectors and data pipelines, spot new abuse patterns early, and escalate when evidence is thin.

Required profile

• 2+ years in investigative or risk analytics (fraud, abuse, trust and safety, AML, chargebacks, gaming or marketplace integrity).
• Strong SQL without help, including self-joins, window functions, cohort analysis and joining payments, usage and identity data.
• Python at working level (pandas, notebooks, some graph work).
• Unit-economics literacy and clear written and spoken English (B2+).
• Backgrounds such as fintech, payments, gaming, crypto or betting fraud/risk analysts, trust and safety investigators, chargeback/AML analysts, or product/BI analysts who handled abuse problems.
