Cloudflare Developer, Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloudflare Developer (Platform Engineer) to support a high‑profile global client in the pharmaceutical sector. The role focuses on building, optimizing and scaling solutions on the Cloudflare Development Platform, including Workers and AI capabilities, with the flexibility to work remotely from Kazakhstan or from our offices in Astana, Almaty or Karaganda.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain applications using Cloudflare Workers and the Cloudflare Development Platform.
• Develop and deploy edge‑native services with high performance, security and scalability.
• Implement and optimise Cloudflare AI tools such as Workers AI, AI Gateway and Vectorize.
• Integrate Cloudflare services with existing enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices and platform standards.
• Troubleshoot, optimise and harden production workloads.
• Collaborate with client engineering, security and platform teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to growing engineering teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with the Cloudflare Development Platform and Cloudflare Workers.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise and solid understanding of edge computing and serverless architectures.
• Experience building APIs, event‑driven services and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with security, performance optimisation and observability at the edge.
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
