Cell Lead – Production Section Supervisor

About the role

The Cell Lead is responsible for the overall performance of a production section within JTI's manufacturing plant. You will ensure continuous operation, meet production targets, maintain product quality, and drive efficiency while managing a team of operators.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee uninterrupted operation of the section and achieve scheduled production volumes, quality standards, and cost targets.
• Prepare the line for production, organize crew assignments, monitor adherence to technological processes, and promptly address any deviations.
• Maintain product quality, implement measures to prevent defects, and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Assign production tasks to crews according to approved plans and schedules.
• Set daily goals, monitor progress, analyze results, and identify and resolve issues such as stoppages, breakdowns, or defects.

Required profile

• Higher or secondary technical education.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar engineering‑technical role, preferably within an international organization.
• Fluent in Russian and English.
• Knowledge of technical specifications for raw materials and finished products.
• Understanding of the cigarette and filter‑stick production and packaging processes.
• Familiarity with operation and maintenance procedures for production equipment.
• Experience in labor organization, team management, and motivation.
• Knowledge of occupational health, safety, fire protection, and sanitation regulations.

Required skills

• Advanced PC proficiency (MS Office).
• Working knowledge of SAP (plus).
• Working knowledge of PowerBI (plus).
