CAD Administrator – SmartPlant 3D (Oil & Gas, Kazakhstan)

About the role

Join a technical team working on an international Oil & Gas project in Kazakhstan. You will be responsible for administering, configuring, maintaining and providing technical support for the SmartPlant 3D environment throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the SmartPlant 3D project environment, including databases, sessions and catalogs.
• Configure user accounts, roles, permissions and access rights.
• Support the implementation of project‑specific standards, templates, rules and workflows.
• Monitor model integrity, data consistency and database performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for designers, engineers and IT teams.
• Coordinate installations, upgrades, patches and system maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in CAD administration, preferably with Hexagon SmartPlant 3D.
• Experience on Oil & Gas, petrochemical or industrial plant projects.
• Ability to work independently within an international, multidisciplinary team.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• SmartPlant 3D (Hexagon Smart 3D) administration and configuration.
• SmartPlant Foundation, SDx, SmartPlant Enterprise.
• Experience with AVEVA E3D, PDMS or AutoCAD.
• Database management and data‑exchange concepts.
• Configuration management and engineering data integration.
