Business Development Manager – Digital Solutions (Automate & Protect)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for Epiroc’s Digital Solutions portfolio, focusing on the AUTOMATE and PROTECT product lines. This role combines sales, technical pre‑sales support and long‑term partnership development for mining customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities for remote‑control, automation, safety and Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS).
• Engage with key mining customers to promote digital solutions and build lasting relationships.
• Lead projects from pre‑sales through implementation and commissioning, ensuring successful integration.
• Collaborate with global Epiroc teams on technical and commercial matters.
• Support customers in defining technical requirements and designing solutions.
• Collect market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product improvement and business planning.
• Prepare structured reports and maintain visibility of ongoing projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Mining, Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in mining, automation, industrial technology or B2B solution sales.
• Strong understanding of the Central Asian mining industry and key customers.
• Proven track record managing large, complex sales opportunities with significant commercial value.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
