Audit Manager

About the role

Grant Thornton Kazakhstan is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements from planning through completion. You will work closely with the Engagement Partner and client teams to ensure high‑quality audit delivery in line with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements, coordinating planning, execution, and final reporting.
• Plan and supervise audit procedures, managing engagement teams efficiently.
• Review workpapers and audit reports to ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA and professional standards.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing key matters and providing timely updates.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, resources and overall efficiency.
• Support the professional development and training of audit team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of audit and accounting experience, preferably in a Big 4 or international audit environment.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent, completed or in progress.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA and Kazakh tax legislation.
• Kazakhstan Auditor License or close to obtaining is an advantage.
