Associate Consultant Intern – Summer Internship 2027

About the role

Join Mastercard’s Advisors & Consulting Services team as an Associate Consultant Intern for a ten‑week summer program in Almaty. You will work on strategic consulting projects, collaborating with small teams to help leading brands solve complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic consulting engagements across industries such as financial services, retail, hospitality and more.
• Analyze data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Create clear presentations for internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Participate in problem‑solving sessions, structuring challenges and exploring solutions.
• Engage in volunteer activities, networking events and mentorship sessions with senior leaders.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or master’s student graduating between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Availability to start on 21 June 2027 for the full ten‑week period.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical excellence and a passion for business consulting.

Required skills

• Experience with data analysis or querying tools such as SQL, SAS, Excel or Tableau.
• Ability to structure problems, conduct quantitative analysis and present findings effectively.
