Assistant Manager / Manager – Transfer Pricing

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to join its Tax Department, focusing on Transfer Pricing. The role involves delivering high‑quality transfer pricing projects for a diverse client base across Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, while building strong client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain key client relationships by delivering exceptional service.
• Lead the delivery of transfer pricing projects, ensuring technical excellence and a business‑driven approach.
• Identify and drive new opportunities, leveraging knowledge from previous projects and internal training.
• Develop internal and external networks to support business growth.
• Coach and develop junior team members through delegation and on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics; tax‑specific education or foreign university study is a plus.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ADIT, CFA or similar (or in progress) are preferred.
• Proven experience as a tax professional with expertise in transfer pricing or international tax.
• Fluent spoken and written Russian and English.
• Strong analytical and technical writing abilities.
• Project management experience.
• Experience coaching and developing junior staff.
