About the role

We are seeking an experienced agronomist specialized in seed production to join our international agricultural company. The role involves extensive field work across multiple locations in Kazakhstan, ensuring high‑quality seed cultivation and compliance with technical protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full field control throughout the vegetation cycle, from field selection and monitoring to harvest.
• Ensure adherence to cultivation technologies, technical cards, protocols, and plant protection schemes on hybridisation plots.
• Monitor the quality of work performed by producers and subcontractors, reporting on area, yield, seed weight and moisture.
• Maintain field documentation, track weather conditions, and systematise sowing data.
• Conduct field certification of seed material and adapt protocols to local conditions.
• Oversee seed processing quality at partner factories and manage orders for materials, reagents, packaging, and labels.
• Provide agronomic support to clients, handle seed‑quality complaints, and train partner agronomists.
• Participate in product promotion activities.

Required profile

• Higher education in Agronomy.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an agronomist, preferably in seed production.
• Knowledge of seed production, storage, marketing standards, and quality improvement methods.
• Strong negotiation and partnership management abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work directly in the field.
• Responsibility, systematic approach, and solid organisational skills.
