About the role

The Ops Accounting Analyst role supports the accounting function by monitoring, assessing and evaluating financial processes and data. It involves identifying policy gaps, formulating recommendations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position has a direct impact on the quality of services provided within the team.

Key responsibilities

• Independently post and balance books of account, including cashbook, general journal, sales book, purchase register and ledgers for an operations unit.
• Analyze financial reports, statements and records, and make recommendations on accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures.
• Research and interpret factual information, identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues and propose policy or procedural recommendations.
• Apply knowledge of industry practices and standards, communicate information concisely and assess risk in business decisions to safeguard the firm’s reputation and compliance.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
