Strategic Information (SI) Specialist

About the role

The Strategic Information (SI) Specialist supports the EpiC Kazakhstan project by providing technical and operational assistance for data collection, reporting, monitoring and analysis. Working under the Senior Strategic Information Specialist, the role ensures data quality and timely delivery of project outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify, clean and consolidate programmatic data from implementing partners.
• Maintain project databases, trackers and prepare routine internal and donor reports.
• Support data quality assurance activities, review data completeness, consistency and timeliness, and provide feedback to partners.
• Produce data summaries, dashboards and visualizations to support program performance analysis.
• Provide day‑to‑day SI support to partners, including indicator interpretation and reporting guidance.
• Maintain organized electronic filing of SI documentation, prepare meeting minutes and technical documents.
• Assist in the preparation of donor deliverables related to strategic information.
• Perform other SI‑related tasks as assigned by senior staff.

Required profile

• University degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, information systems, social sciences or related field.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation, strategic information or data management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Good written and spoken Russian; English is an asset.
• Experience with HIV programs and PEPFAR reporting is an advantage.
