Regional Laboratory Equipment Business Development and Support Specialist

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Regional Laboratory Equipment Business Development and Support Specialist to represent the company in Almaty, Kazakhstan. You will promote Abbott’s diagnostic equipment, generate sales opportunities, and build lasting customer relationships across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop existing client relationships and expand the customer base within the region.
• Forecast and achieve sales targets for equipment and related services.
• Provide after‑sales support and create client development plans.
• Identify new market opportunities and acquire new customers.

Required profile

• Higher education in medicine, biomedicine, medical technology, engineering or electromechanics.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic equipment and the local diagnostics market.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of business development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with key decision‑makers.
• Technical literacy; engineering experience is a plus.
• Intermediate spoken English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the territory.
