Data Technology Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Data Technology Consultant to define, govern, and operationalize a robust data product framework. You will shape the definition of a data product, establish ownership models, and design scalable workflows that enable teams to ingest, publish, and manage data assets confidently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a practical definition of a “data product” tailored to the organization’s context.
• Design and implement a transparent ownership model with clear accountability for each data product.
• Set minimum documentation, quality, and validation standards for all data products.
• Document step‑by‑step procedures for data ingestion, product creation, and secure publishing.
• Create repeatable, user‑friendly workflows and discoverability mechanisms such as searchable catalogs and metadata tagging.
• Provide guidance on safe, compliant data handling while maintaining ease of use.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to onboard users to the new processes.
• Establish centralized documentation, access‑control principles, and a lightweight governance cadence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data‑focused consulting or operations.
• Proven background in data governance, data management, or data product operations.
• Ability to define and operationalize frameworks and workflows in dynamic environments.
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills, capable of translating complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
