Connectivity Engineer – Network Design & Automation

About the role

The Connectivity Engineer will design, implement and maintain both logical and physical network infrastructures. The role works closely with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to ensure reliable, secure and high‑performance connectivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑manage the network environment and coordinate with network and cabling providers.
• Co‑create logical network designs, physical layouts and patching schedules for wired and wireless equipment.
• Develop and enforce security policies on firewalls (Cisco, PaloAlto) and monitor network status and capacity using big‑data analytics.
• Participate in Network Operations to guarantee availability and performance, and provide assurance of deliverables.
• Manage local IT service vendors and partners, and handle operational issues at various levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field with a focus on network engineering.
• Proven experience with SD‑WAN, NFV/NFVIS, infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Ansible) and network automation platforms (Prime, APIC‑EM, DNA Center).
• Hands‑on experience in network security policy implementation and network segregation.
• Strong ability to produce high‑level and low‑level network documentation (HLD, LLD) and diagrams.
• CCNP certification or equivalent experience; fluent English (C1) and conversational Kazakh/Russian.
